Ribbon Watch Strap

I got this gorgeous ribbon on ebay to use on my cards & realised it was the perfect width for one of my favourite watches that strap had broken.  I brought some D rings (also on ebay) & sewed them on one end of the ribbon & hemmed the other end.  I'm really pleased with the look :)

Patchwork Owl

I was quite pleased with how this turned out apart from where I stitched the bottom up it's a bit gathered but I will do better next time :)  I really enjoyed doing the patchwork & would love to make some more patchwork soft toys (though time is a bit factor).  I added some cellophane amongst the stuffing so it makes a crinkly sound when squeezed.  I found the pattern & instructions HERE.  I used buttons for the eyes and a felt triangle for the beak (all sew on very tightly lol).

First Tote Bag

I made this a while ago & my son's ex girlfriend wanted it to take on her hols (so I was very pleased especially as it was my first attempt!).  As it WAS my first attempt I cut up an old duvet cover to make it  but it came out better than I expected.  I was hoping to make more but there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.
